Patrick Moote: Accepting Your Limitations

Pat Moote

Mark the date on your calendar now: Saturday, November 30th, The Clyde will proudly present actor/comedian Patrick Moote’s new feature film Unhung Hero at 10 pm. The documentary follows the SWHS grad on a hilarious and occasionally squirm-inducing global search for answers to an age-old male question: Does size matter? But the film, Pat’s first, is more than that. It’s also an exploration of how to deal with insecurity and learn to accept yourself for who you are. Sound cheesy put that way, but it isn’t.

Unhung Hero was invited to such prestigious film festivals as South X Southwest and the Seattle International Film Festival, and it won good reviews. Pat’s quest was taken seriously by others as well–he was even interviewed for the magazine Men’s Health.

Pat will be on hand before the show mingling with the masses at Mo’s Pub and after the show for a most likely hilarious little talk about the making of the film, followed by a period of Q&A with the audience.

We will start selling tickets for the show at 8 pm that night so you can have dinner/a beer/a glass of wine knowing that you’ll have a seat when the doors open at 9:30 for this special event.

We saw this movie at the Seattle Film Festival and loved it!! It was by turns funny, sweet, sometimes a little unsettling, and has a uplifting message (pardon the pun) for us all. Don’t miss this terrific film!
