Along with theaters all across the country and the world, we’re opening Wicked: For Good on November 21st! The conclusion of the epic musical Wicked, it tells a story of friendship across ideological divides, standing up for what you know is right, and beautiful people sinking exceptionally well. It has some additions from the the stage musical, and those additions are being lauded by the earliest reviews as deepening the story and experience. We don’t have many reviews out there yet, but we’ll get quotes and Rotten Tomatoes scores up as soon as we can.
Orchestrator Jonathan Beard will be at The Clyde for the Saturday, November 22 and Saturday, November 29 showings, and will stay afterwards to talk about his experience working on the film and to answer questions. These were amazing insights into a little-known part of movies when he came to talk for the first Wicked, and I’m sure they’ll be fantastic this time as well.
Wicked: For Good opens nationwide (and at The Clyde) on Friday, November 21, and plays Friday, Saturday, & Monday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2pm for three weeks in a row.
