Vaccinations Required Starting September 24

The Clyde Theatre will be rolling out a new COVID policy next week. With COVID cases still high in Island County, we’re doing everything we can to make movie watching safe and comfortable. Starting Friday, September 24, we will require either a vaccination card, picture of the vaccine card, or proof of a negative test within the past 3 days from each patron age 12 or older.
Those who are medically-unable to be vaccinated (including children under 12) can use the balcony — just talk to the host at the door. The two balcony seating areas will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will continue to monitor the situation in the county and the larger area, and take the precautions necessary to make watching films safe and comfortable (because we’ve got some great ones coming up).
I would love to return to the Clyde but before I do I would like to know of any HVAC upgrades at the Clyde in terms of COVID and are you still allowing eating?
Will you be asking for photo id with vaccination card?
Thank you.
Ellen
Ellen, we haven’t been able to make any HVAC upgrades, but we are changing the filters more frequently, running the HVAC system more often, and venting more regularly, all in an attempt to improve airflow out of the building. The snack bar is open, but masks are required when not actually eating. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within the last 72 hours are required for entry.
Hi Brook-if we have an approved medical and/or religious exemption, what proof do you require of that and what else do you require, to attend? It is very confusing from the info page about exemption process/rules. Thanks! Trish
Anyone who is not vaccinated can purchase a ticket after providing proof of a negative COVID test in the last three days.
