How To Train Your Dragon

July 4-7 | Friday-Monday | 2 hours, 5 minutes | Rated PG |

sequences of intense action, and peril

Hiccup is the son of a dragon-slaying Viking chieftain, but he’s never really fit in. He’s not big, he’s not rough, and he’s more of a thinker than a fighter. But when he saves a dragon instead of killing it, everything changes. Suddenly he’s working to save both Vikings and dragons, alongside his new dragon friend Toothless and several other teens from the village to save not just their parents, but their whole way of life. Sure, it’s a remake of the original animated, but Toothless is just as adorable, the messages of coexistence, understanding, and brains over brawn still carry through. It’s an adventure for the whole family, with bits in there for the adults and for the kids. It currently has a 98% Popcornmeter on Rotten Tomatoes.
