You know the story, you’ve seen the TV show, you’ve worn the Underoos. Now you can see Wonder Woman on the big screen. An Amazon from the mystical isle of Themiscyra, Diana travels to the world outside to stop a threat to all humanity. She finds herself in the midst of World War I, alongside American pilot Steve Trevor, and does what any hero would: she steps up and leads the way to save the world. If you’ve been disappointed by recent DC superhero movies, this is the one to restore your faith in the brand. It’s also a female-lead, female-directed story about a woman who kicks serious butt. Oh yeah, and it’s rated 93% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.
Wonder Woman opens Friday, June 23, and plays Friday at 7:30, Saturday & Sunday at 5:00 & 7:45, Monday-Friday at 7:30, Saturday & Sunday at 5:00 & 7:45, and Monday at 7:30 (Saturday & Sunday late shows are at 7:45 due to the length of the movie).
Monday, June 26 will be Ladies’ Night (men allowed, so long as they’re okay with hooting and hollering), and Saturday, July 1 will be Costume Night (come as your favorite superhero and get $1 off your snack bar purchase).
