We’re bringing back Victoria & Abdul for another run. This charming, funny story of Queen Victoria and her Indian footman-turned teacher Abdul got ever-larger crowds during its first three showings, so we’re giving it another three. Dame Judi Dench is perfect, as usual, as the aging, grumpy, bored Queen whose interest in all things different is sparked by a chance encounter with a young Indian clerk delivering a Mughal coin to her during a celebration. Her family and advisers worry over the influence Abdul is gaining with the Queen, and she is forced to defend his presence at her side.

Victoria & Abdul re-opens Tuesday, November 21, and plays at 7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
