Thor: Ragnarok

November 24 - 30 | Friday - Thursday | 2 hours, 10 minutes | Rated PG-13 |

intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and brief suggestive material

The latest Thor movie is a little more Guardians of the Galaxy and a little less The Dark World. When the Hela, the Goddess of Death (Cate Blanchett) conquers Asgard, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself without a home, captured and thrown into life or death combat in an interplanetary gladiatorial contest. His opponent? Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Escaping and picking up teammates along the way (including Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki), Thor must return to Asgard to prevent Ragnarok, a galaxy-wide apocalypse. Director Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople) brings bright, colorful fun to the franchise that will leave you trying (in vain) to decide whether the Thor/Hulk moments or the Thor/Loki moments are more awesome. It’s currently rated 93% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, and that’s definitely not just fanboys giving it rave reviews.

Thor: Ragnarok opens Friday, November 24, and plays at the 1PM Matinee and at 7:30 on Friday, 5:00 & 7:30 Saturday & Sunday, and at 7:30 Monday through Thursday.
