Robert Redford has stated that this will be the last movie he acts in, and if that’s true, he picked a great one. He gets back to his roots as a charming rogue in this based-on-a-true-story movie about a gentleman bank robber. Armed with a bright smile, good manners, and a gun he tries never to use, he escapes from San Quentin and goes on a string of robberies–at the age of 70. Chased by lawmen (Casey Affleck and Danny Glover), and coming back to a woman who loves him despite his profession (Sissy Spacek), Redford’s Forrest Tucker enchants a nation.

The Old Man & the Gun opens Friday, November 2, and plays at 1:00 & 7:30 Friday, 5:00 & 7:30 Saturday & Sunday, and 7:30 Monday (The 1:00 matinee should have captions in addition to audio).
