Yup, it’s playing for two weeks. But that’s absolutely alright, because although you’re likely to love it the first time you see it, you’ll probably want to see it twice, because it definitely gets even better the second time. The focus is definitely on Daisy Ridley’s Rey and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, but Mark Hamill steals the show as a rather cantankerous Luke Skywalker, and Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, and newcomers Kelly Marie Tran and Laura Dern put in strong performances as well. This is a Star Wars movie that reminds you that Star Wars has always been a space opera, about larger than life heroes and villains, quirky humor, stakes that are higher than you can imagine (“I don’t know, I can imagine quite a bit…”), and amazing set-pieces. The Last Jedi has two of the best scenes in the entire saga, just gorgeously shot and amazingly composed. It’s a treat.

The Last Jedi opens Friday, January 12, and runs for two weeks. It shows at 1:00 & 7:30 Fridays, 4:00 & 7:30 Saturday & Sunday, and 7:30 Monday – Thursday (early shows are at 4:00 the weekends due to the length of the movie).

Hi, I’m so grateful for your captioned shows. Is there one for Star Wars?

    • Glad you like them! As long as we get the proper version of the film, there will be two captioned shows of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Friday January 12 at 1pm and Friday, January 19 at 1pm.

Hi. I’m also grateful for the captioned shows. Is there any chance you could do an informal survey to see how popular it would be to include captioning in one of the evening shows? Thanks for all you do to keep us entertained!

I’m expecting more of us will be aging into appreciating captioned shows. What about a discussion around something like a midweek evening, like Wednesday.
