Spin Me Round

October 4-6 | Tuesday-Thursday | 1 hour, 44 minutes | Rated Unrated |

Alison Brie stars in and co-wrote this comedy-drama about the manager of an American chain restaurant who gets a chance for an all-expense paid trip to Italy to meet the rich, handsome founder of the chain. She’s goes to Italy expecting a wonderful business opportunity and maybe some fun. What she finds first is romance and glamor — and then something else entirely. Aubrey Plaza steals every scene she’s in as the founder’s assistant. It’s a goofy movie carried by some tremendous performances, and a whole lot of fun.

“The film is ludicrous in its large strokes and pointed in its details.” -Amy Nicholson, The New York Times
“Plaza, as always, is a master of deadpan with an underlay of recklessness and she and Brie play off each other beautifully.” -Nell Minow, Movie Mom
“Brie and Plaza are always good; the two of them together, balancing absurdity with a dose of seriousness, teetering on the brink of both, is a real highlight.” -Bill Goodykoontz, Arizona Republic
“A pleasant diversion punched up by an engaging cast and a scene-stealing cameo.” -Randy Myers, San Jose Mercury News
“Is this supposed to be some kind of sitcom? A thriller? A provocative #MeToo statement on sexual dynamics in the workplace? Yes, all of the above, it turns out.” -Peter Debruge, Variety

Spin Me Round opens Tuesday, October 4, and shows at 7:30 Tuesday-Thursday.
