July 4, 5 & 6 | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 1 hour, 56 minutes | Rated PG-13 |
Just in time for the Fourth of July comes this true story of a Marine and her K-9 partner. It tells the story of the bond formed between these two warriors, one that is strained by outside forces when an IED explosion injures woman and dog alike. It’s a simple story from the director of Blackfish, but an effective one that tugs on the heartstrings but does not wander into melodrama. Kate Mara stars, with able support from Tom Felton, Bradley Whitford, Common, and Edie Falco.
Megan Leavey opens Tuesday, July 4, and plays Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 7:30.
