Leave No Trace

Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie are absolutely fantastic as father and daughter in this movie about fitting in, living your own life, home, and family. Foster’s Will is a veteran with PTSD, who lives in state parks with his daughter Tom. Their life together is unconventional, but it suits them… until they’re arrested by the park service for living on public land and forced to integrate into “civilization” in order to stay together. It isn’t your typical Hollywood film, and that’s a good thing, unfolding with patience, care, and precision to form something at once heartbreaking and uplifting. It’s currently rated 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Leave No Trace opens Tuesday, September 18, and plays at 7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
