Late Night

July 16, 17 & 18 | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 1 hour, 42 minutes | Rated R |

language throughout and some sexual references

Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling provide both heart and laughs in this story of a late-night TV host whose act is getting a little stale and the writer (her only female writer and her only writer who is a person of color) she brings in to spice things up. The movie tackles sexism and racism in the workplace, and manages to do it while also being hilarious and heartwarming. It doesn’t hurt that Mindy Kaling was the main writer as well.

Late Night opens Tuesday, July 16, and plays at 7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
