Dream Horse

June 25-28 | Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday | 1 hour, 53 minutes | Rated PG |

language and thematic elements

Some of our favorite movies at The Clyde are the little movies that come out of nowhere to show up big, like we think Dream Horse will be. Masks will be required for those who are unvaccinated. Because we can only seat 40-50 people in the entire auditorium, all seats will temporarily be $10.

With their town in a depression, the people of a small Welsh village band together, sharing the time and costs to raise a prospective racehorse. Dream Alliance becomes a beacon of hope for the whole village, as he works to join the ranks of Wales’s elite race horses. It’s a bit predictable, sure, but it’s also utterly charming, and the perfect feel-good movie for anyone whose life feels like it’s in a rut (or for anyone, really, it’s just particularly poignant for those of us tired of a year at home). It’s currently showing 90% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 97% Audience Score.

Dream Horse opens Friday, June 25, and shows Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 7:30.
