thematic content, some disturbing images, and strong language

Mark Ruffalo stars in this real-life story of a corporate lawyer who takes on a case against DuPont Chemicals when a farmer in DuPont’s hometown loses more than 190 cattle to poisoned water. Ruffalo’s Robert Bilott pursues the case tenaciously even as DuPont’s lawyers use every trick in the book–and several not yet in the book–to stop him. After he wins a settlement for his initial client, he takes on a class-action lawsuit for the people of the town, driving himself to exhaustion and beyond to do the right thing. Currently it has a 95% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Dark Waters opens Tuesday, January 14, and plays at 7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
