Back to Burgundy

April 24, 25 & 26 | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 1 hour, 53 minutes | Rated Unrated |

About PG or PG-13 for some language and drinking

A charming trip through the vineyards of Burgundy and through the meaning of family. In this French film, the black sheep of the family comes back after a decade away to join his brother and sister in caring for their ailing father, and the family vineyard. When their father passes away, they are left with a massive estate tax–and the question of what to do with the vineyard–while they’re still getting to know one another after 10 years apart. The characters are well-written and the roles well-acted, the scenery is lush and beautiful, and enough amazing-looking wine being tasted that you can almost get a buzz yourself.

Back to Burgundy opens Tuesday, April 24, and plays at 7:30 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
