terror, violence, and bloody/disturbing images

We’re finally getting access to some new movies at The Clyde, including the hottest one on the market right now: A Quiet Place: Part II. Masks will be required for those who are not vaccinated. Because we can only seat 40-50 people in the entire auditorium, all seats will temporarily be $10.

Following up on 2018’s masterpiece, this suspense film is another smart, thoughtful film that will still make you jump out of your seat at times. It follows the survivors of the last film, Evelyn (Emily Blunt), Regan (Millicent Simmonds), and Marcus (Noah Jope), plus an old family friend (Cillian Murphy) and assorted other survivors (including Djimon Hounsou). The movie expands on the idea of what it means to be family in a post-apocalyptic world, but also throws in the worry that other humans may be even more dangerous than the apocalypse. It’s currently rated 91% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

A Quiet Place: Part II opens Friday, June 18, and plays Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 7:30.
